ROCCA DEI SETTE FRATELLI - LANGHE (Treiso - CN) A surprising "crater" in the gentle Langhe landscape (Unesco heritage). About 100'000 years ago the Tanaro river changes its path into the present one, triggering a kind of erosion involving the surrounding area. Since then, this little creek is "biting" the former landscape, eroding the gentle countryside. Those houses and vineyards have limited lifetime, while a new valley is being shaped. Langhe region is a geologically speaking young landscape, and in continuous evolution and transformation.
