  • This site is called Moray. It is a very good example of the terraced agriculture practice that the Incas used to take advantage of the steep mountainsides. Our guide told us that this was a kind of agricultural testing station, where they could find out which plants succeeded at which temperatures. The temperature differential between the top and bottom terraces is about 15 degrees!
