The #church of St. Olave, Hart Street, #London EC3R 7NB. One of the last remaining #medeival buildings in the #CityofLondon and one of only a few that remained untouched by the Great Fire of London in 1666 mainly due to the efforts of #SamuelPepys in fighting the flames, he lived nearby and is buried in the church. The church was first recorded in the late #12thcentury and is dedicated to the patron saint of Norway, King Olaf II, who fought alongside the Anglo-Saxon king Ethelred the Unready.
