The exhibition reveals a hidden treasure by analyzing faces on Goya's engravings with period treatises on physiognomy. These faces speak without embellishments and turn directly to the people, who are the main recipient of the author's illustrations. Thus, the primary characteristic of Goya's faces is brutality, as it captures emotions in a pure form. We discover this intelligibility, which the author achieves thanks to the intuition of genius, through three types of physiognomy: animal, pathological and degrading. Tuto srozumitelnost, jíž autor dosahuje díky intuici génia, objevujeme skrze tři druhy fyziognomie: zvířecí, patologickou a degradující.
