It's only about a 50m walk along dirt track to the cave.
This is near the track start on Burke Road, Linden. Donohoe's grave (headstone) became a site associated with the development of local historic folklore during the early twentieth century. Stories about the nearby King's Cave as the haunt of a Colonial bushranger who was reputed to have shot a constable named Donohoe, were recorded and published by Frank Walker.
The cave shows evidence of early modification involving the construction of a substantial sandstone retaining wall across the front elevation (c1820s).
