The Ralph S. Man Homestead is located located just west of Historic Downtown Mansfield on Broad Street. The Homestead is being restored over the next several months as a museum. The property will be under the direction of the Mansfield Historical Museum & Heritage Center and provide visitors with a glimpse of what life was like in Mansfield in the late 1800s. Man began building the house in 1865. The current project includes the restoration of the home and barn, also built in 1865. Future work will include the construction of a information center and an outdoor amphitheater, as well as the addition of some smaller historical structures. The new museum will open in 2020.
