Jahlil Nzinga Solo Exhibition Oct 15 - Nov 13, 2020 Grøss Creative Studio is thrilled to present this solo exhibition by Jahlil Nzinga featuring original works on paper, canvas, and one large sculpture — hosted by Hubble Studio, DTLA. Upon entering the space, visitors are drawn like a moth to the pale neon glow of Nzinga’s sculptural work at the far end of the space residing in perfect contrast with the gallery’s Italian stucco accent wall. While en route to the inevitable, photogenic destination, visitors can feel the boisterous energy emanating from Nzinga’s signature one line faces on either side of the space. The one-line faces are complemented by compounded automotive illustrations that further encapsulate the artist’s attitude toward creating — spirited, intentional, and dignified. Additionally, as a first look at the beginnings of a new direction, 8 framed original works on paper display an explorative collaboration between Jahlil Nzinga and Sol Summers.
