The Film Festival – a Festival of Serbian Actors (late August) – since 1966, every summer Nis has symbolically given the keys to the city to actors and become “a city of actorsâ€. The most attended festival of its kind in Serbia, organized in the open air of Nis Fortress Amphitheatre, the festival has always attracted a lot of attention. Even today older attendants remember the visit of the world famous acting couple, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.
