Visitors walk in the Passage Bourg-l'Abbe in Paris, a little passage principally occupied by offices, art galleries and a narrow bar, France, November 28, 2016. To give the feeling of depth, the designers used a grid of diagonal black and white tiles on the marble floor. Built for the most part in the 19th century, there were approximately 150 covered passages in Paris, an early form of shopping arcade. Only a couple of dozen passages remain in the 21st century as a result of Haussmann's renovation of Paris. REUTERS/Charles Platiau
