WADI AL HITAN - EGYPT - JULY 2017-monfaridah A lonely mountain in a vast flat area and one single small tree. A beautiful mysterious location in the Western Desert of Egypt, beautiful dark skies. There is a myth around this place that a military western plan from the World war II crashed at that location and the pilot survived for few days , taking one of this mountain corners as a shelter. He carved his name on the rocks and died out of hunger and thirst.
